About the project:
Our company teamed up with “Sterling Timber Frame Homes” and we had the privilege to supply interior doors, all cabinets as well as the entire moulding package. The client as well as the interior designer were looking for a warm look that was warm yet elegant. American walnut cabinets with matching interiors were chosen for the Master closet, some bathrooms as well as the media room. For the kitchen, butler’s pantry and storage pantry the client was looking for a painted appearance with glazing, and a very dark American walnut stain was selected for the island and some parts of the kitchen. The library was built of quatersawn African mahogany with hand selected burl mahogany veneer for the panels. A variety of custom colors was used for rooms like the Laundry and the guest closets.
We manufactured the interior doors and the entry door of engineered solid American walnut and Rocky Mountain hardware was used for the trims. All interior doors were equipped with a mortised whisper lock. The moulding package was manufactured from American walnut and African mahogany with the highest standard of quality wood being selected to achieve a long length for the mouldings. For the entire project approximately 12000 BF of American walnut and about 3000 BF of African quatersawn mahogany were used. The American walnut was custom cut for this project to ensure we could select to our custom grade with respect to clarity and color.
To respect our clients privacy, we are only showing pictures of certain rooms of this residence. We would also like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for having had the honor of being part of this project.
